Establishment of “Carbon Neutral Business Promotion Office” in Energy System Business

March 4th, 2021, Osaka Japan - Yanmar Energy System Co., Ltd., (YES) a subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings has established the Carbon Neutral Business Promotion Office, based in Tokyo and Germany, as of March 1st, with the aim of realizing a decarbonized society.
YES has long promoted the use of biogas power generation for local consumption as well as other initiatives that contribute to carbon neutrality. As the global shift to decarbonization accelerates, the new organization established by YES will contribute to protection of the environment and create new businesses that utilize new energy sources and will be more proactive in promoting carbon neutrality. In Japan, the new organization will be based in Tokyo, an important global information hub, and will work closely with Germany, a leading country in renewable energy, with the aim of building cooperative relationships with stakeholders and commercializing the project as soon as possible.
