Om klimatmigration i en nära framtid
I samband med projektet How to die– Inopiné bjuder Mia Habib produktions in till en vetenskaplig konferens med presentationer, dialoger och fysiska gruppövningar med temat klimatmigration. Under konferensen demonstreras de metoder som utvecklats under projektet, reflektioner över det speciella pedagogiska formatet – diskursiva och fysiska övningar, som framkom under en fyra dagars workshop med studenter från Arkitekthögskolan i Umeå. Projektet är format av blandningen mellan kroppsliga förutsättningar och teoretisk decentrering av fackkunskap.

About climate migration in a near future
Umeå School of Architecture and Mia Habib Productions welcome you to a symposium which is part of the project How to die – Inopiné, a co-production with Norrlandsoperan. The symposium consists of presentations, dialogues and participatory physical practice.
The Displacement Curriculum – The Symposium invites transdisciplinary, speculative thinking around climate migrations as an impending, common horizon of humanity. The event demonstrates methods developed for the project How to Die – Inopiné: specifically, the blend of bodily conditionings and theoretical decenterings of disciplinary knowledge that has shaped this production. Moreover, it reflects on the pedagogical format borne out of this fusion of discursive and physical practice: in its first edition, a four-day workshop with students at the Umeå School of Architecture in the fall of 2019. Like the workshop itself, which shall be analyzed as the potential embryo of an expanded and experimental pedagogy, the symposium is a cycle of presentations, dialogues, and participatory physical practice.
