Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have decided to get up from behind our laptops during lock down and use our daily exercise allowance to do some good. Between us as a Team of 8 Managers and Admin, we will be either Cycling, Walking, Jogging or running the distance from our most northern Depot in Bedford & Peterborough down to Littlehampton & Bognor to the South West of our Network and to Brighton and Eastbourne in the South East of the network. Oh all in just 2 weeks. This distance of 349 miles which is the equivalent from London to Edinburgh!! 

We will be Cycling, running, jogging and walking in our own home area's (so we abide current PHE guidelines) but tracking mileage through Strava as if we were doing this for real. By the end, our hope is that we have travelled the distance from Depot to Depot! We will be doing this in our own time as we are all Key Workers too and manage a fantastic team of Train carers who are doing a wonderful job. 

We have calculated mileage as follows (using London Blackfriars as Centre and start of a journey):

Bedford = 51 miles

Peterborough = 78 miles

Bognor Regis = 67 miles (via Arun Valley)

Littlehampton = 61 miles (Via West coastway)

Brighton = 50 miles

Eastbourne = 66 miles

Each of us have a preferred method ie: cycling, running, walking, swimming. We will be building up as many miles as we can each day around our job and home life. Please stay tuned for our updates.
